This two-day TCP Course meets all the training standards required by the BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA). After successfully completing this course, you will become a qualified TCP and receive a TCP Record of Completion Card. To successfully complete this course you must pass both a knowledge exam and an onsite practical test. |

Vicki Boesterd
Vicki Boesterd took her first TCP course to join the industry in 1994. Her Career on the road started in 1997 as a Traffic Control Person moving into a Lane Closure Technician position a few years later . In 2004 she was offered the opportunity to become a BCCSA Instructor. She is still actively working on the road when not in the classroom. Her Passion is Apparent from helping every student ,to protecting every crew ,safety is always her main goal.

This course requires a good command of spoken and written English.
Students are required to bring government issued photo ID and must have steel-toed safety boots for day 2. (Students without government issued ID or steel-toed boots will be marked incomplete and will not receive a TCP Record of Completion). Classroom expectations: Learner participation is a part of this course. Students are expected to be considerate and encouraging of other learners, using appropriate language and behaviour. It is your job to help others learn, just as it is theirs to help you. Practical Evaluation expectations: In addition to the classroom expectations shown above, students are expected to follow road safety protocols. Students are advised to bring: (1) Weather Appropriate Clothing; (2) Work Gloves; (3) Bag Lunch; and (4) must have Steel-Toe Safety Footwear with Ankle Protection. Instructor may provide you with additional course policies. |
