I have been active in the Traffic Control Industry for more than 20 years starting as a TCP working for an underground utility contractor for 8 years. Through this experience, I became a skilled laborer, ran some heavy equipment as well as acted as the Traffic Control Manager for many high-profile projects. In 2007, I created Fast Lane Traffic Services Ltd starting with the Golden Ears Project with Bilfinger Berger Canada and the GCCJV, moving on to the Pitt River Bridge Project with Peter Kiewit and Sons and inevitably became the Prime Traffic Control Service Provider for the Port Mann Bridge Project with a staff of 80 employees at the peak of my business. I sold Fast Lane Traffic Services in 2018 and decided my future was best served as a TCP Instructor for the BCCSA. I strive to share my knowledge and experience with the new generation of Traffic Control People coming into the industry as you are the future of traffic control. It is my mission in instilling the importance of following the regulations related to the job as a Traffic Control Person. I have a strong passion for the safety of traffic control people and take the job of being the first point of contact to the industry very seriously.
