Course Details

This online TCP Renewal Course meets all the training standards required by the BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA). To be eligible for this course, you must hold a valid TCP record of completion with no more than one year of expiry. To receive a new TCP certificate, you must obtain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam (the exam is NOT open book). If you are unsuccessful, you may retake the course. If you are unsuccessful on your second attempt, you should take the two-day course.

To complete this course you must have:
  1. a personal computer (PC) or laptop with camera access
  2. government-issued ID (name in your TCP Gateway account must match your ID before you check eligibility status).
  3. basic computer skills, English language proficiency, internet navigation knowledge, image uploading, and technical problem-solving ability to complete this course.

If you are unsuccessful on your exam and need to re-take the course after the 5 day cooldown, you must re-purchase to take the course to take the exam again.

  5. You understand that an unsuccessful exam score results in a 5 day cooldown period and is required before you can reattempt the exam.
