To successfully complete this course you must pass both a written exam and an onsite practical test.

Class Specific Notes:

1. Attendance

Attendance for the entirety of the class is mandatory for both days. Check-in is at 7:45am (15 minutes before class begins). Students arriving twenty-five minutes late for either day will not be permitted to attend or continue in the course. There will be no refund for attendance or tardiness issues.

2. Clothing & Footwear

Dress appropriately for a respectful learning environment. Day 2 requires you bring weather-appropriate clothing, pants, a sleeved shirt and CSA Grade 1 (green triangle) safety-toed boots with ankle support. Walking up to 20 minutes may be required to travel from the classroom to the on-road practical location.

3. Food

The lunch break is half an hour. This may not be enough time to return with food. It is recommended you bring a bagged lunch. The facility has access to a fridge and mircrowave.

4. Other Supplies

Bring your own pens and highlighters. You will receive a Participant Guide that you can make notes in; however, a journal or scrap paper for additional notes may be beneficial.
