Course Details

This two-day TCP Course meets all the training standards required by the BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA). After successfully completing this course, you will become a qualified TCP and receive a TCP Record of Completion Card. To successfully complete this course you must pass both a written exam and an onsite practical test.

Brittni Bowles
Brittni Bowles is a results-driven professional with over 13 years of experience in Health & Safety and Traffic Control. She excels in designing Traffic Management Plans, administering training programs, and coordinating major city events, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Currently, as a Training & Compliance Specialist at Metro Traffic, Brittni develops training materials, oversees compliance, and designs Traffic Management Plans. Her role includes applying for permits, conducting site inspections, and coordinating significant city events. Previously, she was a Traffic Inspector for the TransMountain Expansion Project, where she managed traffic safety plans and provided guidance during incidents. As a Traffic Control Supervisor for Michels Canada and Jacob Bros Construction, Brittni implemented traffic plans, supervised personnel, and ensured on-site safety. Her early career with Universal Group included roles as OHS Specialist, Training Coordinator, Field Supervisor, and Lane Closure Technician, where she refined her traffic control and safety skills. Brittni holds numerous certifications, including Construction Safety Officer training and OFA Level 1. She is known for her organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership. Brittni remains committed to ensuring safety and efficiency in all her projects.

Classroom expectations:
Learner participation is a part of this course. Students are expected to be considerate and encouraging of other learners, using appropriate language and behaviour. It is your job to help others learn, just as it is theirs to help you.

Practical expectations:
Students are expected to follow road safety protocol. Students are advised to bring: (1) Weather Appropriate Clothing; (2) Bag Lunch; and (3) CSA-Approved Safety Footwear with Ankle Protection.
